What is hydroblasting?
Hydroblasting high pressure water jets to remove line markings including road markings
quickly and efficiency with minimal disruption. Using high pressure pumps which generate
water are precisely passed through jets and can quickly remove line and road markings. The
pressure of a hydroblasting pump is up to 40,000 psi and the vacuum that is attached
collects the waste material and filtered into a waste tank meaning fast efficient results with
no mess.
Here we will look at some of the reasons why hydroblasting line removal helps to minimise
any disruption to commercial settings whether that be main roads, highways and even
airports.
No damage –
One of the main benefits of hydroblasting to remove lines and markings on roads is that it
leaves behind no mess or damage. Other methods are known to damage surfaces whereas
hydroblasting leaves no damage to the surface. This means the surfaces are left stable and
useable straight away which is a must for airport runways and roads to minimise disruption.
No fumes or noise –
Hydroblasting is great for commercial areas as there is no disruption from noise or fumes.
The process is quick and over quickly meaning no disruption and there are no fumes
generated as the pumps use water only. This means that it is perfect for residential and
commercial settings.
Traffic flow is unaffected –
When considering line removal for roads a thing to consider is always how traffic flow will be
affected. As hydroblasting is so quick and effective traffic flow is disruption is minimal. The
hydroblasting unit is self-contained and removes waste t the same time and the process
takes literally minutes with traffic control measures to allow traffic to continue to flow.
All in all UHP hydroblasting is the go to for minimal disruption when line markings need to be
removed in commercial areas. If you have a requirement for line marking removal Shawfield
will be more than happy to discuss how we can do this effectively and efficiently.
