All of us drivers will have come across a frustrating car park at one time in our driving life I am sure.
Where you are unable to navigate through the carpark as it is poorly marked and cars do not know
where they are going and the spaces are not marked correctly so it’s a hit and miss as to where to
out your car. There is definitely a science behind car park marking and at Shawfield it is what we do
best. We pride ourselves on ensuring that we help to mark car parks efficient and safe and as user
friendly as possible.
Correct car park lining is essential to avoid chaos and danger on the carparks and ensure the safety
of all using your car park facilities. It is so important to ensure that car parks are correctly marked as
it ensures the following;
Space is effectively used
Vehicles are directed in the right way
Enhances driver safety
If you do not use effective line marking within your car park facility you run the risk of not utilising
your space effectively which in turn can cause issues for you as a business. By using correct markings
you will utilise all of your space effectively and therefore make more spaces for more cars to park.
The correct markings on a car park also leads to less accidents. You have enough room and space to
park the car properly and not only that the flow and direction of traffic is determined making it less
likely for driver error and accidents which can prove very costly.
Here at Shawfield we are experts when it comes to car park lines and we will use the correct line
markings in both straight and angled lines to make the most of your space whilst making the car park
user friendly and optimising safety. We can also designate social parking areas for disabled drivers
and parent and child where more space is required for a user friendly car park.
If you own a property and you do not have the specific regional or national standards you may be at
risk of being penalised and nobody needs that.
